Maintain the Prostate Health to Stay Away From Impotence
Prostate health should be fine in order to stay away from the impotence. In fact I would say that your health should be at its best to stay away from impotence. Around 40% cases of the impotence are observed due to the problems in the prostate. It has been noted during the studies that abnormal prostate health is many a times a cause of the impotence. Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) is closely linked to the impotence problem. BPH is basically an enlargement in the size of the prostate observed mainly in middle-aged and old men. The symptom of this problem is the inefficiency in urination or pain during the urination as the increased prostate size puts the pressure of the urinary tract. Later BPH may cause urinary hesitancy, frequent urination, dysuria (painful urination), increased risk of urinary tract infections and urinary retention.
Impotence is the result of the inadequate blood supply to the male reproductive organ during the sexual activity. Due to the swollen prostate the blood flow gets disturbed in the male reproductive system. As a result the blood supply to the penis is affected giving rise to the erection problems in the men. Prostate also puts a lot of pressure on the veins and arteries as a result they gets tensed and their opening become closed. This way the blood supply is completely stopped leading to the failure in the getting the erection. BPH is linked so closely to the penile malfunctioning that majority of the cases of the impotence are observed to be suffering with BPH. Still the research is going on whether BPH causes impotence or vice versa. But, that is sure that they both are linked closed to each other.
BPH is generally caused by the old age, there has been no particular reasons still yet established. Majority of the patients of the BPH are old men thus it has been linked to the old age. Some claims even suggest that BPH is hereditary. Changes in the hormone levels also sometimes causes the BPH in men. Many myths still prevail that explain BPH as cancerous, but I would like to make it clear that BPH is not cancerous. Only 1% cases of the BPH can lead to the cancerous. The best way to stay away from the BPH is to maintain your health at the optimum best.
BPH has been recently linked to the impotence problem in men. To verify this, a study was conducted in which 100 men suffering with the impotence and 100 men suffering with the BPH participated. The overall health examination of these men was conducted. I was observed that from 100 men suffering with impotence, 63 men were having a problem of BPH. Similarly, in the group of 100 men suffering with BPH it was noted that 59 men were facing the erection problems during the sexual activity. Thus, it was confirmed through the study that impotence and BPH are linked. But, whether impotence causes BPH or vice versa is still not clear. So, if you have to stay away from impotence you should maintain the prostate health.
There is no need to worry too much about the BPH as it is easily curable. The best thing to treat the BPH is to reduce the intake of the fluid before bedtime. Even the consumption of alcohol and caffeine-containing products should be reduced to maintain the prostate health. If suppose you don’t get any effect by these options, then you should opt for the use of medicines. No use is noted suppose by the medicines also then you have only one option that is to undergo the surgery. Once your prostate problem in solved simultaneously your erection problems are solved. Thus, please maintain the prostate health at the optimum best to stay away from impotence.
